For television he has directed cult classics like ‘Shameless’, ‘Teachers’, ‘Secret Diary of a Call Girl’ and ‘Vincent’. He won a Royal Television Society Award for his period drama ‘Garrow’s Law’ for BBC1. He recently directed a feature length episode of Poirot for ITV.
Peter has written and directed several prize winning short films. His latest Dating Eliza recently won 3 awards at the LA Comedy Festival including Best Short Film.
He cut his directing teeth as a documentary maker with award winning films for BBC Arena and The South Bank Show. His three-part biography of Peter Sellers was BAFTA nominated and won several major awards in the US.
As a commercials director he has clocked up ads for brands like Carlsberg, Ikea, William Hill, Mars and Sky, combining great comic performances with a cinematic eye. His campaign for Sky Broadband for example took classic fairy tales and legends and wove them into a dozen beautiful and hilarious ads.
More recently he has found himself in demand as someone who can work with big names. That includes Al Pacino, Benedict Cumberbatch, Joann Lumley, Michael Caine and Danny Trejo.
