From Milan to Tokyo in 45 seconds: We produced an event for M&C Saatchi with a viral lm to promote the optical ber of Fastweb. For a whole day the Moscova metro station in Milan was completely “masked” and turned into the Metro Shibuya in Tokyo, thanks to a scene consisting of billboards, a newspaper kiosk, screens and walls identical to those of the Japanese metro station.
More than 100 Japanese extras, dressed in the style of the great Japanese metropolis, animated the event under the curious gaze of the Milanese public. More than 17,000 people passed through the station and experienced what it might feel like to be catapulted halfway around the world in 45 seconds.
