Bill Barluet


Born in Paris, Bill studied business at school, while making short films in his spare time, teaching himself film craft.
He also started working as assistant director, and location manager for tv commercials and feature films.
In 2006, he made “Drifting” -­‐ his first short film.
He also wrote the script and the film played by a famous French actor, Pierre Richard. This short film was screened in many film festivals in France and around the world (Los angeles, Sao Paulo, Prague, Cologne, etc.).
In the same year, he wrote & directed his second short film called “Slices of life”, a movie about the destinies of twelve characters during a day in Paris.
For that movie, he had the chance to work with an amazing French cast.
This short film won the “best director” price at the Short Film market during the last Cannes Film Festival.
Recently, he is start writing a script of a feature length film that he will be directing too.
